Except for the nudity, (very soft), this film reminds of the original
Charlie's Angels, (and other television shows of that time), in terms
of production values, editing, story etc. It is one perfect storm of
cliches replete with a Burt Reynolds look alike, a white Mafia that is
equal parts McCoy-Hatfields and Dukes of Hazard. Naturally all the
white women have jungle fever so they pretty much capture all of the
requisite stereotypes.
A few funny moments though and IMDB gives it a 6.5 which is higher
than Crisis Is Our Brand and about every other Sandra Bullock film and
they had a budget! :)
