In Visual Basic Class I tried to start the Visual Basic
IDE Artwork design interface to the compiler and it refuses
to start. We have to log in with a secret regfistration number
But if registration is free why do we have to log in
with a big secret number to start Visual Basic ?
Nobody knows what that number is.

Why not just use Linux ?? Install Mono first and then
vbnc seperate Visual Basic Dot.NET compiler for mono.

Or install flex and then wine on Linux and then in wine
install netscape-navigator-9.0.0.6.exe
and then install 22 Mb dotnetfx.exe for Dot.NET 2.0
redistributable runtime and then after installing it then
c:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\vbc.exe progname.vb
to compile a visual basic program!!

Even Though the Visual Basic Textbook costs almost $100.00
it only decribes how to use the artwork IDE Visual Basic
developer studio that DOES NOT WORK.
Greg, You auditioned for Luke Skywalker for the
Help Luke Skywalker Save Windows audition
in a previous semester. Pretty please save Visual Basic.

I only auditioned as a very weak version of Luke Skywalker.
Those secret Visual Basic setup files are not necessarrily
beyond being exposed. Help files might crack that code.
we should plan on using the command line based Visual
Basic compiler.

Data checks a computer. The Visual Basic artwork IDE
designer studio is still broken.
Then Data plugs a fiber optic cable into his head and plugs the
other end into the exocomp that he brought with him.
Data unplugs the Ethernet cable from the computer
and examines the end carefully. Then the Exocomp that is
connected to data replicates an Ethernet socket and then Data
plugs that ethernet cable into the Exocomp.
Data then browses the Internet through the Exocomp.
Several minutes later Data unplugs the Ethernet cable from
the Exocomp and plugs it back into the computer.

What is the situation ??

The most liklely scenareo is that several Microsoft programmers
and managers had jury duty during Microsoft Visual Basic
studio 2008 development. The other people who filled in for
them temporarily did not know as much about that work so they
made several serious mistakes including forgetting to check
the finished Visual Basic Studio 2008.

How come they did not ask to be excused from jury duty.

Jury duty is still mandatory as of February 17,2011.

If my father had to take time off from his two jobs
to serve on a jury or even show up at selection
then my mother would have to get two jobs.
Mandatory jury duty is unfair!!

Can voters vote for a ballot proposition to make
jury duty voluntary ??
Under a voluntary system jurors could choose a starting
week and courthouse and then during that week jurors
who volunteered to start that week would be chosen at random
for trials within their chosen courthouse.

It has been two whole years scince Visual Basic 2008 studio
was released. Is there a SERVICE PACK to fix it ??

I hate Microsoft. Microsoft had an accident
two years ago in that Visual Basic 2008 Studio
artwork developer was broken because Microsoft
programmers and managers had jury duty two years
ago.
Why is there sill no service pack for it??
Some versions of Linux support mono
vbnc progname.vb
mono progname.exe
to compile and run Visual Basic programs on Mono.
Carouso said that the textbook for cs938
is not even written by Microsoft and it is so
narrow that it only discusses that broken grapical
designer studio that is STILL BROKEN after TWO WHOLE YEARS!!
Microsoft should care more about their own customers!!
I hope that we consider switching ALL COMPUTERS to Linux+mono
and/or Linux+wine instead of continuing to use Microsoft
Windows.
I beleive that Visual Basic Programs including graphical
programs that are not console apps CAN BE COMPILED by the
command line compiler in the Microsoft Dot.NET redistributable
called vbc.exe EVEN IF IT IS NOT IN THE TEXTBOOK!!!!
