That won't work for Tina either.
Tina, I can see from your headers that you are accessing the group
through "google" groups. That won't work to bring you the photos..
This part of the internet is called "usenet" (newsgroups) and it's
best to access usenet directly rather than indirectly through the
world wide web. (although there are a couple sites, one I think is
guba.com, that do a better job of letting people actually see the
pictures).
Depending on your internet service provider, you may already have
access to a newsgroup server although they did not tell you about it.
(They tend to no longer advertise the best hidden secret of the 'net).
If you can get to your ISP's help file and get the name of their
newsgroup server, you can configure Outlook to show the newsgroups and
bring in some (not all) of the pictures.
That could be a first step. But there is specialized software that is
waaaaaay better than Outlook to do this job that brings you everything
better. (XNews is free, Agent is one that I use). Also your ISP may
not have newsgroups or give the crummiest bare bones service
available. People subscribe to premium news servers and then they use
that software and everything is totally available then. The biggest
and most popular news servers are EasyNews and Giganews. Perhaps
behind those big ones are usenetserver.com and teranews. There are
maybe 30 others of varying quality and price.
You can google some of these subjects and get up to speed fairly quick
and discover another dimension of the net. People here could also help
answer questions or give suggestions if you needed that. - Doc
