Yeah. And you're definitely living a delusion. I suspect your
heroine is presently doing hard time for assault with a deadly weapon.
I hope she liked her stay in the big house. Maybe she even got to
*meet* Martha Stewart. Law enforcement is kind of funny about people
that take the law into their own hands.
People who commit attempted murder end up doing some hard time ... not
the countryclub for celebs. Just ask that feller who shot the man
accused of molesting his son in that Atlanta airport ... in front of
law officers escorting the man to jail after having a writ executed.
He's in prison right now. His son doesn't have a dad.
Or you can ask about that mother who brought a pistol into a
California court room during the trial of an accused child molester
and shot him in the back of the head, having judged him already guilty
of touching her boy. She executed her idea of due process, and the
courts executed theirs. She's doing hard time for a dozen violations,
from murder in the first degree on down. She gets to see her boy once
a week through plexiglass. Smart move on her part, wasn't it? Really
patched up the crisis in her family. Last I heard, she was having
severe mental problems and her barrister was trying to get her
released early for it ...

fantasies get their just desserts, don't they? But I'll give you the

confirms this fantastic but violent fairy tale and I'll concede your
