Yes, but you see they are on a Mission from God, or some such moral
imperative ...
which justifies any expense, human or treasure.
And I have heard, but of course not actually SEEN, that the boys in
questions have expressions indicating they don't think they are being
harmed. I haven't the slightest doubt that many "caring souls" will
"properly convince" them that they were mistaken and should be feeling
shame, guilt and mental anguish.
Ah, well. The poor lads didn't know any better, so now they must
suffer the consequences?
