Generally accurate and well-written. I like that it isn't reactionary
(let's kill the bastards!). She seems calm and focused.
I think her paragraph on homosexuality is somewhat inaccurate
scientifically, but she doesn't claim to be an expert here. And though
the article is based on her own experiences with her son, she never
touches on man/girl or woman/child (they do exist) relationships at all.
I've maintained for a long time that the pedophile hysteria sweeping the
world is really just disguised homophobia. The hysteria almost always
concerns man/boy sex (unless a girl is murdered) when man/girl sex is
much more common.
The fear (not admitted to) is that man/boy relationships will turn our
sons into homos, whereas man/girl relationships (which are every bit as
dangerous) may groom girls for a good heterosexual adulthood.
As homophobia has become less and less acceptable in society, the focus
for the homophobe changes to prevention, hence the reason for the recent
surge in disapproval of man/boy relationships. Historically they have
been more accepted, sometimes even encouraged.
