Solomon's Private File #343
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 31 in this story, in the Spring of 2057.

I asked to meet with the parents of a prodigy. They were very
surprised. I said, "Mr. and Mrs. Singh, I'm here about Nalini." She
said, "You want her to go to your school?" I said, "No, that's not why
I'm here. But something like it. I offer her a full scholarship to a
university of her choice in Tibet, and a stipend, and full funding for
any of her research projects." He said, "Why do you do this?" I said,
"She will not fully realize her enormous potential in any other
educational situation." He said, "You have done this for other
children?" I said, "I have." He said, "Why have we not heard of this
before?" I said with a smile, "You do not need me to tell you what your
intelligence has already told you." He smiled and said, "That is true."
She said, "She would have to live apart from us. We don't want that."
I said, "Why don't you want that?" She said, "She's our daughter!" I
said, "I think I knew that already. Other daughters and sons are in
this program, with their parents' full support. So, there must be
another reason for your decision not to have her live apart." She
looked conflicted. He nodded to me, slightly. I returned it, beneath
her notice. I said to her, "She will know of this offer, eventually.
What will she think of you then, for so restricting her development?"
He said, "It is said that you are the world's foremost expert on
geniuses." I said, "I was, before I became as I am now." She was
confused. He said to her, "Now he is beyond that, knowing all, as God
does." She said, "Oh!"
I said to her, "It's important for the world." She said another,
"Oh!" I said, "And you know she will be so happy, she won't notice she
will be working harder than anybody." We shared grins. I said, "You
know I love doing this." They nodded. They looked at each other. He
said, "She can go." She nodded, holding back tears. I said, "Now that
you've decided, I can tell you other things. If you wish it, she will
be instructed in your religion." He said, "I didn't expect that, but I
should have. We would like that." I said, "I am not in a position to
and said, "I think I understand. We are Sikhs. You are different from
us only in that you cut your hair." I said, "I don't use a body long
enough for the hair to grow so it needs to be cut. When I had a body, I
didn't change it, except for that, and finger and toenails, and I dress
simply, and I value all faiths and nonviolence. You KNOW I have some
er, respect for your religion." They gave me grins.
I said, "Nalini will be able to speak to you when you and she wishes.
I can enhance that, if you will keep it a secret." She said, "We will!"
crystals. Hold them in your hands, and strongly wish to talk to the
other." They did that, and said, "Oh!" They could see each other in
their minds. I said, "Do this when you are using the phone, and you
will have more of each other. If you wish to share a strong feeling,
that will happen. I recommend good feelings." Smiles. I said, "While
she is studying in Tibet, she can't leave. Extreme altitude change can
be very difficult to adjust to. We will NOT risk her health, for
anything!" Nods. I said, "But you can visit her any time you want to.
The scholarship will pay for that. The why of that is simple. We want
our students to be happy and free of stress as much as possible, and we
love families." She said, "Can we live there?" I said, "Could you do
that, without interfering with her intensive study schedule?"
She was conflicted. I said, "You know she will leave you to live her
own life someday. Smothering her will make that much more difficult
than it should be. I've been a parent thousands of times. I know how
you feel, from my own experience, from my past lives, and from the all
that I know now. She will always love you, but she is also her own
human being, independent from all others, in identity and future, as we
all are." She sighed, and said, "You are wise." I said, "Wisdom isn't
fun. Could be why it's not all that used very often." Wry smiles. I
said, "You'll get your opportunities to er, influence her life, with
boyfriends, and eventually a husband. And being too permissive with her
children, as it will be your right to be." She had to grin. I said,
"And you will be VERY proud of her, and severely embarrass her in
public with that, every chance you can get." Chuckles. She said, "You
have experienced that." I groaned and said, "I sure have!" Chuckles.
He said to me, "I've had a thought. You can see the future." I said,
"I can see possible futures. It changes with what we do. If I say what
you might be thinking, either way, that could make it a lie." H said,
"I understand." He tried to hide his grin. She said, "How will she be
supervised there?" I said, "We have professional foster parents there,
for the students who are under 18, and counselors. They live separately
from the older students. One of my group monitors everything, and can
do individual healing when required. No personal drugs or alcohol are
permitted on any of the schools' properties." He said, "Why is that?" I
said, "At that altitude, those things are VERY dangerous to those who
aren't born there. We didn't restrict alcohol in the beginning. Some
student deaths caused us to change that. We have watches on the
nightclubs, to rescue adult students to are too drunk to make it back
to the residences without freezing to death in the very cold winters.
No location or society is without problems, but they also provide
opportunities to reduce them, with some effort."
He said, "I am sensing something. They use your technology. You would
not let that happen not under your complete control." I said, "True.
Stephen set up the schools as he wanted them, and they continue to run
only as we wish. Many of the most important people in Tibet were and
are our students. Not of our group, though. Some have advanced enough
to port. And their leader is my sister. Our goals are the improvement
of humanity, the economy of Tibet, and the education of geniuses that
the usual education systems can't do well enough." He said, "And
geniuses with High Psi, go to your own school." I said, "Not all of
them. Some of their parents refuse. Some are already educated in a way
that prevents them from using our system. More like conditioned,
actually. We have very few from Communist countries." He nodded.
He said, "Those parents who refuse, you don't force them?" I said,
"We can't do that." He said, "If we had refused?" I said with a smile,
"Why bother with the impossible? I knew you were good people. Good
parents." We hugged with love.
Mom said to me, "Is he right?" I said, "I shouldn't tell you." She
grinned and poked me.
I said to George, "Some people are commenting on an identifier of
I said, "Our stones. Most use plain wristbands. That's getting noticed,
with the Corps, and our out people. I changed the setting on the
disguises, universally, to hide it visually, and from other psis." He
said, "We should have thought of that." I said, "Yes. A little late,
but corrected. It's becoming a fashion statement now. And some are
trying to copy my clothes." He grinned, and said, "Won't succeed." I
said, "Close, though, but with a funny problem. Use microfiber weaves,
you might get something like the sheen, but you're going to have to use
a lot of dryer sheets. Serious static electricity. Actual sparks. They
can even hear them snapping." Wide grins. I said, "And some have
discovered they don't want to get wet in those outfits. Stick to the
skin form fitting. They know what you've got." Chuckles. He said, "And
they don't have your build. Those poor people!"
He said, "People naming their kids after you?" I said, "Yep. Poor
kids. When are you going to have some?" He said, "I haven't thought
about it." I said, "Start." He said, "Got enough half siblings. I'm not
needed." I said, "Wrong. It's not just genetics." He said, "Somebody
been asking about me?" I said, "Galya wants to start another." He said,
me, and we wrestled. I said, "Oh no you don't. We're not going to fix
that. Not until you use it right." He did, and well.
Galya said to me in private shielded contact, "Children raised by the
most powerful will be better?" I said, "Good possibility, yes. Mostly
likely, exposure to me will do it. So that includes all in our
household. Arrow is sharp." Pokes. I said, "Dawn and Rik have the
couple connection. Rik doesn't realize it yet. A little young." She
said, "You predicted that." I said, "I think I remember that." Another
poke.
I shifted to a meeting at a community park in the midwest. Those
there had a lot of conflicting emotions about that. My grin didn't help
them at all. One told me, rather boldly, "We don't want those Muslims
here!" Another said, "Towel heads!" I said to him, "Do you know why
they wear those turbans?" He said, "Because they're Muslims!" I said,
"It's not a requirement of Islam. Yes, some in authority in that
religion wear something similar, but that's merely part of the costume,
like the Catholic Clerical Collar. What's different with the people
we're discussing, is that all the men are wearing them, and some of the
women. And a different style, too. Comes from India." One said,
"They're still Muslims!" I said, "Well, how do you actually know that?"
They were confused. I said, "Have any of them told you they were?" One
said, "No." I said, "In the past, have any real Muslims you know about,
ever hid that?"
Oner said, "They're not Muslims?" I said, "We'll get to that later.
First off, they're Americans. Are you?" They said with some indignation
that they were. I said, "Then you should know that America was founded
on the principle of religious freedom." One said, "But they're
terrorists!" I said, "Tell me what makes somebody a terrorist." One
said, "They kill people. Bombs and things. Shooting. Innocent people.
Children!" I said, "And for political reasons; discrimination against
other religions and societies, right?" They said, "Yes!" I said, "Isn't
that what you were going to do to them, and why?"
They were confused. One said, "We're not terrorists!" I said, "Not
yet. Still going to be? Terrorism isn't the sole tactic of just one
group. There have been American Terrorists. Christian. Or so they
believed. Real Christians don't kill. Did you know there is one
religion that doesn't kill?" One said, "Which one is that?" I said,
"They have other odd customs, too. They never speak against other
religions. They dress simply. They don't use makeup, or change their
bodies in other ways, from what God made them. That means they don't
shave or cut their hair. Strangely, for non violent people, they
sometimes cary a big knife or sword. They believe in one God. This
religion is the fifth largest in the world. Still don't know what it
is?" They didn't.
I said, "It's called Sikhism, and originated in India in the 16th
century. Their hair, being uncut, is so long, it can become something
of a bother, so they contain it in a turban." One said, "They aren't
Muslim?" I said, "They are not. They're still different from you, and
so are still a target for religious terrorists such as yourselves." One
said, "We're not terrorists!" I said, "Yes, you are. You agreed to the
description of what a terrorist is, and that's what you were going to
do, and why. You were plotting to commit a terrorist act. The law says
that. Yes, you can be arrested for this. That's what happens to
terrorists in America. You're not REAL Americans, if you don't support
the basic American principle and value of religious freedom. You are
absolutely NOT Christian if you were going to kill them! In fact, they
are more Christian in the values they actually follow, than you are."
I said, "No, I won't let you leave. We aren't finished. What do you
think I should do with you now?" One said, "You should let us go." I
said, "Not that one. Something else. Hmm, Hawk is making noises about
that." Some chuckled in spite of themselves. I said, "Well?" One said,
almost in a panic, "I don't want a consequence!" I said, "And I don't
want to give it. Well, I have to feel it as those I give it to. So, any
other suggestions that could help me to not do that?" They thought for
a while. One said, "We can go apologize to them?" I said, "Interesting.
Do you feel that way? Do you still want to kill them?" He said, "I do.
I mean I feel bad about this. I don't want to kill them. It was
stupid!" Some nods. One said, "I didn't know I was a terrorist!" I
said, "Most terrorists don't believe they are. We have a suggestion in
discussion. How do you all feel about it, going to apologize to them?"
Most said they would. I said, "If you do, it would have to be real. You
know I don't support lies."
One said, "If we do that, you won't have us arrested?" I said, "That
would be like forcing you to do that, so that won't work for me. I'm
not like that. But, I haven't decided what I will do about this. I have
five years, the length of the statute of limitations in this state, to
make up my mind. I would be much less inclined to put good people in
prison for a stupid mistake, if I could see they were good, by how they
were." One said, "If we're real good, we won't go to prison?" I said,
"That seems like what could happen." One said, "I see a problem with
this, all of us will be in it." I said, "That looks like it could be
true. I think that could motivate some of you to be very supportive of
each other. So, got any other fair ideas that will work?" They were
very conflicted. They couldn't think of anything else.
I said, "Some say ignorance is of the Devil. Who here would like to
learn something of Sikhism, so you will not be ignorant in their
presence?" Most did. I gave them a crystal, and all read it. One said,
"Oh! I see. REALLY not Muslims!" Nods. The last holdout, was a holdout
no longer. I said, "One more thing. You should know that most people
don't actually obey their religions they say they belong to. Well, look
at yourselves." Some nods. I said, "Except Sikhs. A much higher
percentage of them DO obey their religion in almost all things. So,
would you like to visit them now? I can port us. Had practice." Smiles.
One said, "Will they tell people what we did?" I said, "That would be
like a kind of violence to them. If we ask them not to, well, let's
find out. They won't lie. Oh, and I've been showing them this er,
action. We wouldn't want them to be ignorant, either, right?" They had
very mixed feelings about that.
I ported them to the Temple, which was also their community center.
The leaders were there. I introduced them. We went on a tour of the
establishment, and questions were asked and answered. Then we sat in a
large conference room. The terrorists apologized. I said, "You all
spoke the truth. You DO regret what you were about to do. Part of this
problem was caused by each group being too much apart, and so not
knowing and respecting each other. This is America. You are all
Americans, who together make this country great, BECAUSE you are
different. But different only a little, compared to how much you do
have in common as good people. Friendship is good. I recommend it." A
He smiled, and said, "We will not. It would serve no good purpose.
Friends don't do that." Some of the former perps had some tears.
I said to the Sikhs, "Do you forgive them?" They all said they did. I
said, "Truth." The Guru said, "Our friends are welcome to visit us
again here, and in our homes. In friendship, and when you are in need
of help." I stood. They all did. The Guru said, "Solomon, I have a
request. A God contact?" I said, "We don't know what he will say in it.
If he orders me to share it, there could be problems." They were very
conflicted. The perps saw that. One said to his fellows, "I think we
should risk it. You can see how they feel about it." Nods. I said to
them, with my arms open, "Come to me for forgiveness." They did,
streaming tears, for my loving hugs. Hawk ported in on request, to help
them to sit. Then I hugged the Sikhs. I linked them all with a limited
love broadcast, and God came into it, and said, "To love one another,
is to love and honor Me. Let this not end here." He gave us his love,
and left.
Hawk said to me, "He didn't embarrass you this time!" I said, "You
don't have to sound so disappointed!" Laughter. I said to the former
perps, "Tell me where you want me to port you to. No, not the moon."
Chuckles. They did, and then all were gone. The Guru said to me, "Were
you in the past, a Guru of the Sikh?" I said, "I was not the founder,
and I never met him." Hawk said, "That means he was." I poked him, and
we exchanged some more of them. The Sikhs grinned. I said to them, "I
can't be one of you now. I make my own bodies, not God." He said, "Did
God directly give you that need and ability?" I said, "Don't do that."
They knew what I meant, and chuckled. I said, "A Sikh is forbidden to
be a part of another religion." He said, "Don't do that." Hawk laughed.
I said, "Your religion is a little wrong on one thing. The cycle of
reincarnation CAN be broken, but it's much more difficult and rare than
is assumed." He smiled, and said, "A minor technicality. It is still a
worthy goal." I said, "Yes it is. But you are more accurate than any
other religion, in that those who do, join with God much more than they
are separate." He grinned, and said, "We were very pleased to know
that." I said, "But without pride, of course." He tried not to grin,
and said, "Of course." I said, "You know I know what you want to do."
He said, "Yes. A Special Status Guru." I said, "You can't make that
happen just by yourself." He said, "That's why I will be very busy for
the next week." I sighed, and Hawk said through his grin, "Go for it!"
I said, "So little respect." Chuckles. We hugged again, and I shifted
out, and Hawk ported home. I said to him, "Traitor!" He didn't stop
grinning.
Galya said, "How often do you renew this body here?" I said, "Every
day." She said, "So you don't actually cut your hair." I said, very
plaintively, "How could you!" She expressed insincere pity, and patted
my head. I growled, and they laughed, but with love.
