Solomon's Private File #282
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 28 in this story, in the Summer of 2054.

It happened in an unusual way. Religious leaders disliked how I had
been treated by the law. The Russian Orthodox Patriarch contacted the
Pope, and discussed it. Then he contacted other heads of religions,
asking CNN about those who had known me, and how to contact them. They
agreed, and prepared a joint statement that ordered their faithful,
because I don't lie, and am God's Senior Prophet, they are to accept my
word as true for all matters I say them for, including legal things.
Just before they were going to announce that, Kam did the scheduled
love and healing broadcast. At the end of the healing, God said,
"Solomon is my Senior Prophet for all time and spaces. To love and obey
him, is to love and obey Me. He does not lie! We are Truth!" I said so
all could hear, "Dear Boss, now you've done it." He said, "Yes I have!
I am displeased that some people falsely accuse you of improper
actions. You do not act improperly! You should not be burdened with
court cases based on lies and greed. That is not your work for Me. You
are directed to inform all, regarding those paternity claims against
you, who the father is, and with direct evidence. To accuse you of a
misdeed or crime, is to accuse ME, as you are Mine! Those who oppose
you in court will NOT have my Grace." I said, "Wow! Your will is my
action." He left, and the broadcast was over.
Kam said to me, "I did NOT expect that in my wildest dreams, and you
know how wild they are." I had to laugh. I said, "There is a problem
with that. To provide the evidence, I'm going to have to violate some
laws. Invasion of privacy, when I publish DNA profiles." She said,
"Going to be a test of powers. God and religion, and the legal system,
and what your status should be, between them." I said, "Worse. He just
pulled the rug out of the leaders of religions, who got together to say
most of that, officially." She said, "Oh my!" I said, "Watch while I
try to mend fences." I said in the air to the Pope, "I know what you
were doing about me. Obviously I wasn't the only one. He did a
preemptive strike on you!" Chuckles. He said, "You'll tell the media
that?" I said, "Absolutely!" He said, "Good. Thanks." I said, "I'll
pass the word." I did that, with the other leaders, to much the same
reaction. Then they made their joint announcement.
I was in the CNN studio when that happened. I was asked to comment,
and said, "I know all that happens on Earth, so I knew what they were
doing. This was before God made the recent announcement. That's right.
They had decided to do this before, and were just about to announce it,
when God ruined their plan. I feel sorry for them. The first time all
of them got together for a common thing without me requesting it, and
God steals their thunder. It's just not fair to them." Greg said, "Are
you complaining about what God said?" I said, "Well, it's not that I
like to be completely embarrassed in front of the whole world! And I
feel for the heads of religions, in that their signal effort was
inadvertently made less, even though I didn't want that embarrassment,
either, which is probably why they didn't tell me about it. And there's
one more very serious thing about this. I've been commanded to provide
evidence of paternity. I can't do that without violating people's
privacy. That could put me in conflict with the law in some places."
He said, "I noticed that. What would you do if you're made to go to
prison?" I said, "All of me can't go to prison. It's not possible. My
soul and spirit is as big as the solar system. I can't fit all of me
into even a million bodies. They put one body into a cell, I'll just
leave it, and it will die. They keep doing that, they're going to have
a big collection of dead bodies. I'll try to give them a variety." He
said, "Wow!" I said, "I think they would be saying a little more than
that." He said, "God won't like that." I said, "So I heard. Not a nice
situation. Bottom line is, he's telling people to not mess with me. I'm
not sure I completely like that. Well, I sure get to meet some
interesting people in these things. And conveniently, many of them
actually need my help."
He said, "Would you ask him to reverse his decision?" I said,
"Absolutely NOT! I would NOT ever ask the Perfect Being to reverse any
of His decisions. Why ask for the impossible? But I sure wouldn't rule
out begging for clarifications. But only for things that are much more
important than this." He said, "But what could be more important than
this?" I said, "Destruction of whole worlds of people, maybe?" He said,
"Oh. I sounded very stupid with that. Sorry. You're right. This isn't
that important in the overall scheme of things." I said, "Eh, don't
worry about it. You've had a few shocks today. We all have. Consider
how lawyers and judges are feeling about this, and what it may mean to
them, personally. I would NOT what to be in their shoes. Sox, either."
We went to break.
Back from break, I said, "There is something else to consider why God
may have done this. The leaders of the religions were about to require
their people to do something that might be against some laws where they
live. Maybe God didn't want them to be responsible for that possible
harm to their people, and instead used His ultimate authority to rule
on that before they did it, so they might not feel bad for that." He
said, "Oh! That does sound reasonable."
Greg said, "We've been getting in some news feeds and direct
comments. Some of your most vocal critics are now saying they knew what
God said about you, all along." I said, "Oh really! How interesting.
They expect people to believe, well, I don't want to figure that one
out." He said, "I see what you mean. Using a lie to say they lied
before, when they said it was the truth, but were lying, and they
expect people to believe them? Would any psychologist want to take them
as a patient?" I said, "I sure wouldn't! But it could actually happen.
Many people believe only of the moment, and only what they want to
believe. In fact, a lot of demagogues count on that, because it's true.
Just look at politics."
He said, "I see. When are you going to provide the paternity
evidence?" I said, "I already handed out the paternity evidence to the
lawyers and courts. It includes time research recordings, some of which
you won't want to broadcast, and DNA profiles." He said, "You mean you
gave them recordings of the moment of conception?" I said, "I could
have, but that doesn't actually happen during sex. It takes time for
the sperm to reach the egg. As much as 48 hours." He said, "Oh. I
didn't know that." I said, "There's more to this, though. Some of the
sex acts that caused the pregnancies in contention, were actually
rapes. It remains to be seen if they will be prosecuted successfully. I
hope they are. They should." He said, "I have to agree. This hurts you,
doesn't it?"
I said, "Witnessing a rape sure does hurt me! And that I can't stop
all of them, hurts me even more. I see you don't understand. What
happens when I pop into a couple's bedroom, and pull them apart? Most
often, I would be attacked by both of them. Just ask the police what
happens in domestic abuse cases with them, AFTER it happens. They'd
rather respond to a heavily armed bank robbery, than a domestic abuse
case. Less danger." He said, "Why is that less danger?" I said, "Small
rooms with two very violent people who REALLY don't want you there,
with what can be used as weapons all around them? They're not extra
careful, they can get clobbered. Some have been shot at and killed." He
said, "But why!" I said, "Families tend to circle the wagons, so to
speak, to defend each other, when one of the group is threatened in
their presence, no matter how bad that person is to them. It's an
instinctive thing, not rational. And that can ruin the prosecution of
the rapist, and even land the woman in jail. So, I can't do anything
about it in the home, and not just because I don't have the police
powers that would make that legal. Outside of that, with strangers, I
did stop them. Now the Corps does, and well." He said, "So we've seen.
A great public service!"
He said, "Do you think the courts should accept your live and past
recordings as evidence?" I said, "I intend my recordings to be
evidence. It's strange, though. They sometimes accept my live
recordings as evidence, assuming they came from cameras, but don't
accept the same exact thing, from time research. Except in war crimes.
Surprised me a little with that. The past is unalterable. The
recordings I make of it are absolutely true and accurate. They should
accept it." He said, "Problems with invasions of privacy?" I said,
"Commit a crime, that no longer stays private, but becomes the business
of the law. In providing evidence, I don't go beyond that action, and
won't if it's not related to a crime, even if required to by a court.
THAT would be unlawful invasion of privacy. With my paternity cases,
they are committing a crime with a false accusation. Therefore, my
recordings of the origin of that crime, and all related to it, could be
considered not a privacy issue. And the real fathers, while possibly
not knowing, were aiding and abetting in that crime, and their privacy
in that may not be protected in law in some places. All that would have
to be tested in a very nervous court." He tried not to chuckle. We made
that the end of my part of the show, and I left.
Some jurisdictions asked me if I would provide some time research
evidence. I released this statement, "I, or others of my group, will
provide asked for time research evidence for criminal cases only when
asked for with a court issued search warrant that is in compliance with
the usual standards of probable cause, with the exception of what would
be tried in an international court, which will be treated on a case by
case basis. I will include recordings of crimes that are uncovered in
that research, but will not do any more research than that, even if
requested. This means no fishing expeditions. The recordings will have
imbedded time and date indications, and where appropriate, locations,
and may include scientific analysis and explanatory texts. I will look
upon with serious disfavor, any person who modifies my evidentiary
recordings in any way. These recordings will be given to the requesting
authorities on permanently locked digital media with my symbol embossed
on it, and in multiple copies if desired. I insist that this relieves
me of the burden of testimony for authentication. The requesting
authority is then one of the two official owners of that recording, and
may do with it as legally required, and may publish what of it as they
wish. I am the other owner. No person can actually own the past,
because it is forever unchanging to us, and available to all who have
the ability to see it. However, the skill of the recording, such as the
angles of the viewpoints and the timing of the shifts between angles,
would be individualized, and unique to my artistic and technical
ability. That's what I own."
There was some frustration from some who wanted more than that, but I
received a lot of respect from legal scholars. I shifted to a meeting
of the ACLU. I said, "Complaints? Form a line." Chuckles. One said, "I
don't like this." I said, "I'm not in love with it either. I didn't
want to do it. But you heard what God said. That indicates He wants me
to take a more active roll in these kinds of things, and specifically
with evidence. I don't know how far he wants me to go in this, so I put
in as many restrictions as I could in it. Haven't heard anything about
correcting me, so far. You think I have much choice in this? You do. I
don't. You heard Him. I'm His. He was actually angry, and ordered me in
front of the whole world! I REALLY don't what that to happen ever
again! Oh, I see. This wasn't fully real to you, who I am, until this."
Nods. I said, "I thought that was a good thing. Uncertainty creates
debate, where all can learn from that. Reduced a little now."
I said, "Oh, and something else for you to consider. God doesn't need
my cooperation, or Kamala's, to do any of that. On another planet, he
actually took me over and did a love and healing broadcast against my
very surprised will. I sure didn't intend to do that myself, as I was
to be unknown there. I still am, and they're doing a lot of wondering.
So, any questions now?" One said, "Would you help the defense?" I said,
"In proving alibis, with the consent of those involved, sure. And DNA
profiles of clients, too. Who wants to give the government TOO much of
an advantage?" Smiles. I said, "I have to be fair. You should know
that." Nods. One said, "Would you really let your body die in prison?"
I said, "Anybody want to poke him?" Chuckles. He said, "Oh. I
apologize." I said, "Accepted. I know. Who ever heard of a lawyer who
can't lie?" Chuckles. I said, "But I'm a Doctor, too. I have to chase
myself now!" Chuckles.
One said, "Would you tell is about when you were a tree?" I said,
"That's privileged, and involving a child. Want me to ask him?" He
said, "If it wouldn't be bad for him." I said, "I explained the
situation, and he wants me to share it with you. Not for the public.
Peers would give him trouble." Nods. I said, "To do that, I waited
until he selected a tree, and then instantly ported it away, and me in
its place. I reversed that, when you see me change, disguised a little
with illusion." I played the action. There were smiles and chuckles,
and some tears. I said, "Now he's popular, and a lot of fun to be with,
and has a lot of friends. I've done thousands of these kinds of actions
on Earth, and more on other planets. I child who wants to kill himself,
well, how much more sad can that be?" Nods and some tears. I said,
"Anything more?" There wasn't, so I offered the hug, and they all
accepted.
I asked to see Paolo. I showed him the evidence statement, and the
ALCU meeting. I said, "And with what He said in the broadcast, do you
see a trend here?" He said, "I think I do. He's pushing truth a little
more strongly as time passes. And making you support that, and
specifically with time research. I know why you're sharing this with
me. I appreciate your concern. Your love, actually." I nodded, and
said, "I personally don't care that you are deceiving people. That's
pretty much the main tactic of any religion, and your people are now
actually insisting on it. I see no real benefit to them in exposing the
truth they will ignore. But there are standards. He's pushing them. I
don't know how far that will go, and how strong that will become.
Someday one of us will have to act, probably on orders. I REALLY don't
want to make Him do that, which will make me less in His eyes. I hope
you understand that." He said, "I do. I feel something of the same, and
more, shame." I said, "Not completely unjustified, but you didn't cause
it, and you fear for your Church and the faithful. That should count
with Him, and I think it actually does. No matter what, you KNOW he
loves you!" We shared out tears and love.
