I've looked at all the suggested Pern reading order's and I have to
ask: Why not read "Masterharper" before "Dragonflight"?
I mean, the last chapter of MH is the same as one of the first
chapters of DF. They practically beg to be read together.
I've read all the books multiple times, at least once in order of
publication, and once or twice in chronological order. After reading
"Dragon's Fire" a couple of week's ago I was so disappointed by it,
that I had to re-read MH, which is one of my fave's. That led
directly into reading DF and now DQ. Next I plan on the HH trilogy
then TWD and so on up until the end of the ninth pass.
I was a regular reader of this group back around the late 90's or so.
I had to check it out again since I'm re-reading the books now.
So Hello again to all Alt.Fan.Pern er's out there!
