I agree that it was done without the usual emotional impetus. I did enjoy the
book though, and hope to see more novels that are away from the usual subject
matter. I like that they finally took the watchwher (in light of AIVAS, et al)
and made him more than a photosensitive object of teasing and disrepute.
I am getting amused with Telgar coming up as the bad guys so much...that
dragonrider would have fit well in Moreta's Telgar.
