He is not a troll and he isn't an idiot.
Any hints that lead to an unknown group that the average BL can figure
out so can a troll including if they have to download porn. He isn't an
idiot because he knows this. Since you don't what does that make you?
*No* newsgroup can be kept hidden forever from people who know it
exists which *you* confirmed. Moving from one group to another when it
gets "invaded" just frustrates the people we post for and for no reason
because *all* groups get discovered sooner or later and "secret" groups
cause a lot of resentment in people who can't find it and that could
make them to want to destroy it. Thats happened a lot. Trolls don't
ruin secret groups BLs do.
There are newsgroups search engines that people can use to find
anything they want to find using posters names and email addresses and
subjects and file names and text inside the posts.
The only way to keep a BL newsgroup secret is:
Require posters use names that are *only* used in that one group and
never use another name there that was used someplace else.
*All* files posted must have names that don't show what they really are.
*Never* post any text messages. Somebody *will* make a mistake and
write something that will open the door to discovery. All
communications between members should be by email.
The most important thing is nobody but the people who were invited
privately should know it exists.
Even with all that it won't be secret for long. Some idiot is going to
make a mistake and post things there than can be searched for or
mention the group name in a post in a public group and then it will get
invaded by angry deprived BLs and trolls and spam. It's a never ending
lost cause. It's much simpler to stick with known groups and put up
with the things you don't have to look at. Thats the way it always is
but people never learn.
