What a mess this group has become.
I remember Hugh Elmwood when he first started here and
although people have varying opinions about me, I have
always had nothing but admiration for Hugh. That's in stark
contrast to some trolls who seem to have been sucked in here
in recent days. Trolls will ALWAYS appear where other trolls
appear. Clearly DOOM has been the catalyst. But don't be
fooled by some of the trolls here masquerading as bona fide
lurkers. Let's start with oldguard who I can personally
guarantee is probably one of the most poisonous trolls on
usenet today. He has more than played HIS part in the
downfall of other groups and, perhaps more worryingly,
he has never been able to recognize just what a toxic
element he has always been. Then we have Jack The Hat,
not a very prolific troll, but a troll nonetheless. He
has used numerous nics over the years and astute lurkers
will know why. Let's say he has frustrations!
But the biggest and most dangerous troll to poke his
clueless snout in here is without question The Newsguy
Troll, who has been using the nic Dexter Morgan here.
He is the kind of troll who has ruined newsgroups by
posting artificial, airbrushed plastic bimbos in groups
where they are not needed. Let's face it, that sort of
crap is available for free in bucketloads all over the
internet. The last thing ANY newsgroup wants is to be
poisoned with that trash. The Newsguy Troll started
his campaign in ABPEOW which, until he arrived, was a
very on-topic group. He adopted the nic Coco Laboy
and immediately began spontaneously bad mouthing other
posters, generating an atmosphere of hostility. Then
he decided he would try to outpost everyone else by
posting off-topic 30+ girls. He thought that would be
easy because for every pic of an over 40 women there
are a zillion over 30. But he was thwarted by the
sheer fire power of myself plus my far greater access
to pics and knowledge of usenet. Since then his hostilty
(born of jealousy) has never ceased so that now he has
nowhere to go he finds it fun to start bad mouthing in
this group.
