Anybody would be a fool to post in the current environment. Assholes
and Dickheads prevail...and any post made that violates someone's
copyright will, at some point, be reported by one of the
aforementioned. It's not about "sharing" anymore...it's about who can
be the biggest disrupter, the "king" of Usenet. Who can bring the most
people down...just to do so.
The "good old days" of Usenet are long gone and trolls like Joe Blob
now hold all posters over the barrel with threats of being "turned
in". How people like that bitch get away with posting renamed
crap...and not being hammered by the copyright holders, is beyond me.
Does just wiping a watermark and renaming make it too much trouble for
the copyright holders? That's what JB does and no one seems to be able
to get HIM hammered?
Anywho, suffice it to say that the trolls and spammers have killed
Usenet. One can only hope that those newsservers who provided them
with access, no matter the complaints, will die a slow death as we
stop coming here...and their spamming, trolling members stop paying
them for lack of an audience.
One can only hope for Karma.
