I'd be glad to. In fact, I almost have. I grabbed bs's 04b and your
04a. His did exactly what it's "supposed" to do on a Mac: when the
extension was changed to avi, it IMMEDIATELY was playable. Nothing
else needed. BUT this time, your file did convert without throwing the
frame-rate error. It didn't become playable with the extension change,
but it was more simply dealt with.
Conclusions: Not all of your files have the same problems--and I bet
some have no problems, at all. Second, I'd bet the farm that your
method of posting has NOTHING to do with the state of the files,
whatsoever. Finally, as bs, himself, points out, some of HIS files may
pose problems. :-)
A dose song wisdom: "That's Life" ;-)
Thank you for your posts. And if you two post identical files, I'll be
happy to grab them and report on their respective performance. Your
files arrive intact. Segmenting and pars wouldn't "cure" anything but
incompletion--a NON-problem!
Regards,
DT
