Readme-file for the "Twins-serie"
Dear readers,
Some of us might have picked up the Twins-series from Tigerboy's home-page a year or two ago. A very nice book with such cute boys! Tigerboy did send me the book last year as a Christmas gift, hoping I would want to scan it for us all, this time un-cropped. So I worked hard in order not to disappoint Tigerboy and while I was doing so I really fell in love with these two look-a-likes. There are three pictures I didn't do because they were doubles. The name of the photographer is REMARK and the book is published by Medium-Verlag in Berlin, 1989, ISBN 3-927 667-04-8. I'll include part of what's written on the back of the book, which I had to translate from German into English, I hope I didn't make too much of a mess :-).

ZWILLINGE (Twins)
The photographer REMARK has often been fascinated with the seemingly double individual. So for a couple of months he accompanied a pair of twins, Rolf and Charlie, both eight years old, with his camera. Goofing off and playing, in the bathtub and at the beach..... About a hundred of his best pictures in black & white and in color is now presented by him in this one-of-a-time book: the book of Twins....
However we look at these pictures - these twins are fooling around and full of mischief in a way that is hardly seen among brothers. The photographer learned in these months, while he got to know the kids, to see the differences in the young personalities. For the viewers of these pictures he has asked the boys to put on different swimming trunks - not in the least to prove that indeed we are dealing with two separate kids and not with a photographic trick: can YOU keep them apart?
