THE BOY
A Photographic Essay
In September 2000 I started scanning and posting photo's from this book and when I write this, the complete book has been shown in this gallery a couple of times before. By now many people that visit my homepage have seen the whole book, but because each month many new visitors take a look, I decided to have it here for another time.
A friend sent this book to me, he told me he had it in the attic collecting dust, and thought I would have better use for it. Of course I had to promise him that I would provide him with the photo's in digital format, but he wasn't in a hurry.
I already knew that I had to take it apart in order to scan it and I knew this would hurt! So I felt very lucky that another friend sent me one more copy :-). Thanks a lot! All of a sudden I had two copies of this wonderful book THE BOY, so taking one apart didn't feel that bad anymore.
For people that only recently started to visit my homepage I will put up all photo's once again. There are over 400 photo's in this book in 342 scans and I will put up 15 scans every week. I invite you to start or continue collecting these.
