I think we were on the same page, just working from different

For quality preview purpuses, in cases where I can't get subtitles
into the preview, I should resort to screencaps (not that they give me
much idea of quality, it's like looking at the meats, reading the
recipes, and knowing which tastes better, the pastrami or the corned
beef) with subtitles on them - that way the viewer will know if he's
got work ahead of him correcting the colour or whatever. I still
haven't got a subbed preview from this DVD, but if memory serves,
they're white and quite readable. I'd have to check to be sure.

For me, there would be an added cost of a new computer and/or faster
ISP thus allowing me to view youtubes and get the links, since I won't
post a link I haven't viewed myself - I wouldn't know what I was
posting. And downloading something to upload again would have the same
added cost in getting to youtube, plus it'd be redundant. Same reason
I won't post a rip or DVD that's posted elsewhere (well, other than
torrents, which most here eschew).

Region 0 distributed from the USA. Russia uses NTSC if I recall, so
it's no quality loss. But it'll be fun. I ordered it when I got pi$#3d
off at Amazon for not being able to order Summerhood,

Well, I do, actually. My head and chest cold is just that - a head and
chest cold. I was concerned it might be pneumonia again, which after
such surgery is generally very much a nuisance.

No extra work, really. I generally try to keep good MKVs handy unless
the source is specifically requested (as in this case). Posting time
is increased, but since I can't do anything else while posting, that
gives me plenty of time for sleeping, reading, and all those fun
things retired people are supposed to be doing :)
