Thanks for the story, Spike. I dont mean to needle you with more
questions, but I do wonder what it looked like to make it a ghost...
semi-transparent human form, close enough that you know it wasn't just
a homeless bum with a pale complexion? Anyhow, feel free to ignore
if it's a bother. It makes no difference either way. I'm curious
about everything, ad finitum, so one more thing I'll never know is
nothing new.
To tell you a brief one, my mother saw something as a young child, not
sure the age, but pre-school. One night, she and her father were
sitting in a bedroom next to a fire place, with him reading her a
story. She looks out the doorway into a large hall, dimly lit. She
exclaims, "It's the Devil!" Her father says, "Whur?!" "Right there!"
says me mom, and points out the door. He goes out and looks around,
checks her brother's room to make sure it wasnt a joke. He never saw
or found anything. I asked my mother to describe what she saw, she
said he had a beard and an over-coat, i think, and was carrying a
lantern. Just before he disappeared, he grinned at her!
Go figure, who knows... my brain wants to think she was staring into
the fire, daydreaming to the story book she was listening to, and
looked out the door, and saw some type of reverse pattern on her
retina that looked like a fading image of a man, and 70-some years
later, remembers something a little sharper than she actually saw.
