This is what <pirlouit> shared with us today ...

>Hello,
>
>Do you know where we can find treble albums cds in lossless files format,
>please?
>I shall be very gratefull for any info about!

All we can do is *request* that people start using that format when
uploading. FLAC is currently the best lossless format we have
available. I might be posting some reposts in .flac format of CD's
that I have obtained. But for now, all we can do is hope that maybe a
new FAQ be authored to request that this new lossless format be used
as a preferred upload primarily, and then .mp3's as the secondary
format. BTW.....flac uses 800-900 kbps instead of the 320k that .mp3's
use. The sound quality of .flac is most certainly second to none when
compared to .mp3.  Most computer music players deal with .flac's now
with few exceptions.

Any takers out there? Amahl?????  Amahl use to post a friendly FAQ
some years back.

It seems like this group has died and become reborn to different
extents over time. Maybe we can revive it with some new and old
postings in .flac formats.

Peace to all,

PD

Best Regards,
