The point for me is that this is the first spamming of this group. I
haven't seen spam in here before. Yes, fuck this asshole but it's
another sign that careless posting, by people who name this group
elsewhere, is the kiss of death. Now we must move on.
But there is another question..WHY? I've been ploughing these fields
for 15 years and I till am in amazement at why they do it.
What the hell benefit does this spamming cunt get out of filling up
newsgroups with his shit? No one in here is going to have the slightest
interest in his crap.
Thanks to automation, spamming yet another group adds almost nothing to
his work-load but still, does he have no humanity? No decency? No
respect? No common sense even?
Look here is the golden rule: don't name your favorite group anywhere
else. If you absolutely MUST, use some sort of code. What, I don't
know. Because I imagine the spammers don't use robots to trawl for the
names of other groups, they must actually come in here from time to tim
and read messages.
Someone recently did post that he had opened up another group. His
cryptic clues were beyond me but I already had found him
because...well, just because. I'm no clever-dick so, if I could do it,
so could you. I suggest we all move there and abandon this group
immediately.
unless, that is, someone can trace him physically and drive a stake
through his heart. Can you imagine the effect of reading in the
newspaper "Spammer assassinated"? The results would be electric.
Beneficial and immediate. But, just for the record, I'm not advocating
anything illegal. But, as I think on it, can't be all that hard to
identify him and find him. Serve him with court papers maybe? Yeah,
that's it.
VideoStash.net is not the name that's always been prominent these past
years but it' the name on this morning's mountain of shit. Forget the
content, the site itself is crap. But what else to expect?
Registration was through DomainsByProxy so that route for locating the
spammer is closed off. Unless someone in here knows someone who works
for DomainsByProxy and can frighten/bribe in order to obtain the name
and address of the site owner.
Membership payments are processed by CCBill. Perhaps that's a weak
spot. Imagine intimidating them sufficiently-seriously that they can be
persuaded to cancel their service.
Or someone at one of the major credit card companies?
They also offer billing by bank debit, telephone account or
TicketsClub. Surely they amount to additional weaknesses?
Or a successful hack?
Maybe someone in here attends a church where the leader is known to be
a radical activist? You do the technical work then pass on the
information to someone willing to do what's necessary with the
information.
There might even be someone in here who is a cop but secretly enjoys
what we enjoy. He would make short work of any fucking spammer.
Whatever. With the right contacts, the right skills or the right level
of motivation, it must be possible to find out who is behind this
mountain of shit. Imagine the accolades for whoever can shut down a
spammer. Public praise, and eternal gratitude from the x number of
people in here who just want some peace and quiet.
