It the good old days of black and white television, a TV season ran for
about *36* weeks, with only *16* weeks left for reruns.
About the time of both early color and cable TV this season was changed to
half a year of new TV programs *26* to half a year of repeats *26* weeks.
Now with direct TV, satellite TV and cable TV we now have at best a *16*
week long TV season with, you've guessed it *36* weeks of either repeats or
reruns.
Proof positive that the more TV channels there are to watch the less there
is to watch on any of them.
