I know there isn't a huge audience for this show, or there would have
been VHS issues prior to the advent of the DVD format, but if you can
look beyond the goody-good government propaganda it often showcases, it
really is an excellent drama made even better by some of the finest
uncut transfers I've ever seen.

This holds true for all the Universal series releases I've seen (and
purchased) thus far, from Columbo to McCloud. NO, I am not being
compensated for pushing any products, but knowing what a crap-shoot DVD
buying is-and-can-be, I feel an obligation to kudo the sudios that do
the job right.

It's ironic how the contemporary joke called "Crossing Jordan" is
readily compared to Quincy when there is none. That's because the
propaganda it's used to showcase is worse by 25 years!
