Yes -- I'm sure of it, because lately, I'm seeing favorable changes
taking place on the show that reflect what I've read and personally
lamented about many times right here over the last 18 months.
Of course, we can also attribute them to a deluge of direct contacts
by wishful thinkers with consistent ideas, but I know the word on the
street is universal law to the fact finders in every industry.
As I predicted, Morash deserves credit for his keen sense for
class-acts, because Kevin is doing a marvelous job at the helm, and
with talk of his hosting a retrospective version of the show to mirror
"Ask TOH", we know someone is paying attention!
I haven't heard any official word on visits to past
projects (yet), but I'm looking forward to it anyway.
In this last episode, they concentrated on site work with Norm and
Tom fabricating some custom kitchen cabinets for the Concord "barn"
[dirty jeans and all] and as a member of the audience since 1980, it
felt a little like a warm act of redemption.
Oh, and kudos to Roger Cook for forging his skill into the TOH mix
too. I didn't think a landscaper would last as a team member, but like
all dedicated craftsmen, Roger rose to the challenge and gets more
interesting to watch with every glimpse of his fine (tough) work.
I suppose Morash envisioned that too. GREAT JOB.
