I don't see that these two groovy ideas are mutually exclusive, but I
can see Mike chuckling indulgently and saying, "Whoa -- wait a minute".
In the end, I think that Carol would learn not to try to befuddle the
voters with any razzle-dazzle and that the best way to get the voters
attention is to run an intelligent campaign based on the issues.
Certainly, this worked for Batman when he ran against the Penguin for
mayor of Gotham City ("His Honor, the Penguin").
