It is odd. But I heard that Sherwood Schwartz had some anal retentive
issues as a child, and he used the Brady Bunch as a way of trying to work
through his BM (Bowel Movement) issues. Also, he made sure that anyone he
put in the cast had similar issues so that they would feel at home with BM
(Bowel Movement) related topics. The cast turned out to be beyond his
wildest expectations.
