In a manner of speaking, Burp. Do you remember the gas shortages of
1973-1974. Notice neither the Brady wagon nor the Brady convertible were
never seen waiting in one of the gas lines. Turns out, Mike was more than an
architect, he was a brilliant mechanical engineer, as well. Mike devised a
nine-to-one manifold for the Plymouth wagon. At each seating position there
was a tube. These tubes merged into a single pipe plumbed (no pun, Eve) to
the carburetor of the Mopar.

A single meal of meatloaf, corn O'Brian, mashed taters, and grape kool-ade
would yield an average of 350 miles for the brown wagon. Although unproven,
rumor has it the Bradys did not have to pay for their flight to Hawaii, as
they provided all the fuel the jet needed to make the flight.
