Well, I guess I'm telling you now. :-)
In some versions of Xnews, in it's default configuration, the
"Organization" field it produces in it's posts headers will show the
newsgroups provider's name, and the SENDER'S *IP* ADDRESS.
If you put your own information in the "Organization" field (it doesn't
really matter what it is), it overrides what Xnews would have put
there. If you change posting personalities, and don't remember to put
something of your own in that area, Xnews may do the do the default
thing with the IP address of your own computer again.
If you put your own Organization information in the .INI file, the
default setting is changed, and Xnews can't put your IP address there.
If you don't have a "compose" section. you can make one. Just copy the
format of the other sections.
For YOU, all this is optional, as you don't seem to be showing your IP
address. (I could be blind, though.)
