I guess I wasn't completely clear on that, Jack. TT's posts are,
strangely, completely missing from the web interface. There's no
adjusting. They're just not there. I did the sampling on the NNTP
server, which has them *all*. By "sampling," I mean that I did some
partial downloads of several parts, joined them and viewed the partial
vid, and I also got some random parts and checked their integrity with
the pars. They're all perfect.

:>If that doesn't work, I recently got a PC.  What news reader do you use
:>to download TT, etc?

My reader of choice is Agent (www.forteinc.com). I've been using it
for about 10 years. It's payware (and worth every penny), but it has a
30 day free trial period to let you scope it out.

Another one that's quite popular (and freeware) is Xnews
(http://xnews.newsguy.com/). I tried it a while back, wasn't overly
thrilled with it, and went back to Agent. But then... I'm a picky
brat...

These are the two most widely used news readers of all, and as a
consequence, expert help with both of them is readily available in
most any group.
