To insult or make jest of him,
blood-lusting believers simply cannot allow
To see through the myths, the empty facade
will brand you in their minds as an enemy of God
Where faith in fairytales is ferociously strong
Believers will believe that they cannot possibly be wrong
In a puzzling and contentious world,
religion is not so much an attempt to understand
It is rather a badge of identity, a cattle-brand
Like most religion, like most backward natives
they suffer from difference that is merely quantitative
Whether hotels attacked, schoolgirls raped,
cartoonists killed or ancient temples destroyed
It is typical and traditional religious hatred,
only more pumped-up on steroids
Blame it Darwin or on DNA
Maybe in order to make us able to cope,
Mother Nature taught us to be this way
The fault is perhaps not in ourselves but in the stars
Let's hope that the followers of Moohamed
don't end up rounded up
like the New Jews hauled away in cattle-cars
