The Unbearable Whiteness of Snow
All the land was covered with insufferable white
It continued to fall, 40 days, 40 nights
Power failures plunged multitudes into the dark
God commanded Snowah to build an ark
To make sure that the ark would be fit to sail
God was quite fussy for the finest details
To make the hull sturdy and adequate strength
it was to be width 50 cubits, height 30 cubits,
300 ice-cube-its in length
To correct with a rod after the children had sinned,
God blew the sails of the ark with fierce Arctic winds
"Dearest God", pleaded Snowah,
"Why do you punish us with this storm?"
Said God, "Humans scoffed at my warnings
after causing my planet to warm!"

As Jon Stewart has said, "conservative victimization is the true
genius of Fox News." And when it comes to conservative victims,
none are more victimized than right wing Christians who are
always given warm sanctuary on Fox. The newest Christian pity
party, according to Fox, seems to be that the movie, "Noah,"
doesn't mention the word God.
This morning, after showing some video of Noah, Martha MacCallum
reported that it has "hit some rough waters" before its Friday
debut. The chyron, a thinly veiled attack on the film's director,
read: "Noah Director Brags Noah Least Biblical Movie Ever."
(Note, Fox has turned the director's statement into a "brag.")
Sporting a great, big grin, MacCallum described the director as
"an admitted atheist" before she read his statement. She tossed
to Fr. Gerald Murray. (MacCallum, one of Ailes' stable of
conservative Catholics, is part of Cardinal Dolan's circle of
media pals.)
*Note: Murray is a perfect Fox propaganda priest. When last on
Fox, he pimped the right wing meme that Pres. Obama hates nuns.
He also defended, on the Hannity show, Phil Robertson's
homophobic comments because, according to Murray's church, being
gay is "disordered." Murray appeared with Bill Donohue and Fox's
Orthodox, right wing rabbi Aryeh Spero on Megyn Kelly's show
where all agreed that the HHS birth control mandate was a "holy
war against the Catholic Church."
