DEVASTATING DROUGHT EASED BY DEVASTATING FLOODS

Houston- The prayers of the faithful for relief of a severe
drought responsible for the deaths of at least 6 elderly
residents were answered undoubtedly by historic
levels of flooding this week that has caused at least
352 deaths and destroyed more than 12,000 homes.

"We had faith that He would not let Houston down."
said Reverend Rufus Cornpone, pastor of the Southern
Baptist Jubilee Church of the Good Word.   Parishioners
aided Homeland Security's emergency management
efforts by singing a rousing rendition of "Michael Rowed
the Boat Ashore, Hallelujah".
