The USA model of globalized economics has shown itself as based on
three fundamental errors. First is the creating of "need" for an
fundamental principle of American salesmanship. In fact it is
unethical. We must begin to think in terms of real needs, as opposed
to artificially created needs.
Second there is the fundamental error of belief in infinitely
expanding markets. It is an economic system that supports uncontrolled
population growth, with just enough means and ways to continue growth
in numbers and to respond to the selling of novelty, making that
response a way of life, and the basis of culture.
Third, there is the fundamental error of ever increasing production to
meet those artificially created needs. The flaws and dangers in that
are self evident to any thinking, reasoning, person, and yet American
salesmanship has largely destroyed the power of reasoning.
These errors must necessarily perish and perish quickly. America must
be abandoned, to civilization's backwaters, as the rest of human
civilization wakes up from the American dream turned nightmare, and
finds a new direction towards real progress. If America persists on
its course of steadfast faith in its own errors it must become
history, while the world moves on and changes.
On the other hand goods of lasting value, and goods needed to meet
real human needs can provide a substantial basis for rebuilding a
world economy in a rational, sane, direction. The crude and vile throw
time for reinvoking the principles of design, real craftsmanship, and
lasting value. Too many resources are dwindling and continue to be
wasted by the American way. Change for the sake of change, built upon
change. The devaluing of the thing must change to its radical valuing.
Human culture is material culture, distinguishing humans from beasts,
and that fact means that human culture must necessarily achieve the
best quality in cultural terms. It is quality and conservation and
preservation, in terms of lasting values, stimulating a new
Renaissance of design and craftsmanship that must begin to take
precedence, abandoning the American nightmare and its persistence at
erring.
ORGANIZED RELIGION AS EXCUSE FOR SADISM:
Systems of organized religion tend, far too often, to become the prime
excuse for human sadism and the expression of social pecking orders as
damaging effects upon individual lives. Without consideration for
rationality, good science, and individual facts, religion becomes used
a a means to impose lack of choice, false choice, and wrong choice on
other individuals. This done under the guise of it being the work of a
divinity. It does not necessarily involve the overt hierarchy, in any
official sense of that, in the exercise of that power, and in fact
sometimes does not. If it is ascribed to god, then anything might be
permissible. Religion taken as permission given to those who have
attained social status within the organized system, to impose their
personal viewpoint, ideas, and will, dominating over others, without
good reason, without true rationality, and without any concern as to
good and true science, becomes an abomination. Of course there are an
unlimited number of excuses for such actions, without recourse to the
psychology and sociology that explains the behavior and its effects.
All of those excuses falsely pin the blame on god. Any god will do as
long as there is a group of people who believe in that particular
variant of divinity. If there are followers, then social pecking
orders and the sadistic, meaning irrational and variously harmful,
imposition of the will of others upon those they can exert that will
upon, become possible, and very often the particular theology ceases
to be a concern.
The difficulty increases where the official overt hierarchy of a
religious organization fails to discern the abuses and fails to act to
eliminate those effects. That too is more common than not. After all,
they depend on the group as a whole, for their existence, and their
challenging the group is not as common as it might seem. Not on that
issue, anyway.

That it seems extremely unjust is a gross understatement. It is
completely unjust that the poorest victims in society should suffer
the added burdens of repaying loans for what are necessities of life
such as a pot to cook in, or a cot to sleep on. What next, a pound of
flesh for a blanket to keep away the chill of British society ? That
added burden should be removed from those already heavily burdened by
such unfortunate and oppressive conditions in life.
That someone would even think of adding interest payments to that
burden, rather than eliminating the burden entirely, seems the extreme
of human evil. It is an utterly demonic act, and whomever has come up
with such a retrogressive and torturous an idea should be put into a
mental institution for the criminally insane, and then throw away the
key.
