SPANKSGIVING DAY
Spanksgiving Day is a time for
self-flagellation and groveling guiltily
in gratitude like gravy-licking whipped dogs
who stole a turkey from the table and
know that they are really going to get it, now
Clasp your hands. Clap your hands.
Bow down low, jump high. Buy low, sell high.
Bow wow, wow wow. On your knees.
Say "thank you". Say "please". Bend over.
Roll over and scratch your fleas.
YOu are so cute when you are filled with fear
of being punished for enjoying too much of anything.
Perhaps a desperate show of gratitude for our dog food
will keep us from getting hit again, even harder.
You know that nothing good can last, so be grateful
that you didn't have an even greater disaster
Shaky job? At least you are still working!
Laid off? At least you are not homeless!
Homeless? At least you are not in a concentration camp!
In a concentration camp? At least they haven't killed
your entire family, yet!
Killed your entire family? So what?
At least you are still left to carry on.
You're dying and only have 6 months to live?
Well, by now you ought to know the drill.
Stop whining. Shut up and eat the flesh of a
beheaded and dismembered bird, and like it
Stop bothering us with your constant complaining.
Nobody likes negativity. We hate self-pitying
spit-balls like you who spoil the whole mood of
our festive holiday food.
The spirit of Spanksgiving Day was started
long ago by crab-faced Christian stern moralists
who shared crab-cakes, cornmeal, pudding
and cranberries with Indians, from whom they then
gleefully stole the land and polished off
their population, cleaner than a discarded
turkey carcass.
The Pilgrims came on the Mayflower for religious
freedom, to freely kill homosexuals, heathens, and heretics,
according to the dictates of their keenly honed consciences
and their precious, protected beliefs
Spanksgiving day about whipping hypocrites,
paddling pundits, and giving a sound trashing
to gay-bashers
Spanksgiving Day is punishment to mete
to a nation that overeats, and to noisy barking mutts
who waste too much and need a good kick in the butt
