Dear Poetry Fans of England,
It has come to my attention that concern and confusion
has been generated by my poems dealing with sandstone,
dragons, chess, Chinese cultural festivals, aluminum,
palladium, curtains, slide rulers, homosexuals,
nuclear reactors, and various other symbols that apparently
have meaning to myself, and to no one else.
Please be assured that the entire support staff here
at Keske International Enterprises Incorporated,
which consists of myself, are working around the clock to allay
these concerns and to provide a quality product to you,
the valued, if fickle, poetry aficionados and surrealism consumers.
Our expert analysts have concluded that the bewildering array
of poetical devices would be rendered more understandable,
if put into the proper social and historical context.
The entire story begins on the morning of 4 June 1629,
when the VOC ship Batavia was wrecked on Morning Reef
in the Houtman Abrolhos, off the coast of Western Australia.
Approximate 137 shaped sandstone blocks had been bound
for the Waterport of the Castle at Batavia.
Comparative geological analysis of samples of the Batavia
sandstone by German geologists Dr Jutta Weber and Dr Jochen
Lepper has recently demonstrated strong evidence that the
Batavia portico is of Bentheim sandstone.
The world-famed Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, at the
city's southeastern edge, gives Batavia notoriety today,
attracting nuclear physicists from all over the world.
The Death Roll of Clermont County for the year 1888 compiled
from the books of Messrs. Stirling & Moore lists 85 deaths,
of which only 30 are recorded at Batavia.
Among them was one Mr. Henry Whacker, later known
as "Indian Henry", a "Digger Indian", from a tribe in
southwest Utah, in a country now known as the United States.
The Diggers, as you probably are aware, inspired a
17th century ballad, concerning their land-rights movement
in jolly England. Centuries later, the Diggers were
inspirational to Karl Marx, during his time in London.
Anyway, Mr. Whacker was allegedly shot to death during
a disputed poker game with John Keske, owner of the
North Standard Chemical Corporation, which had some mines
in the Bull Canyon Mining District. Other accountants of
the story strongly dispute the allegation that Mr. Keske
shot Mr. Whacker, and maintain that they were, in fact,
the best of friends.
Further complicating the story was the hilarious collapse
of a salt dome over the Bull Canyon uranium mines.
More recently, Keske impressed Libertyville coach Dale Egger
at the the Dvorak Invitational, and proving himself to be
a bona fide title contender, by riding out Batavia's
Clint Arlis in the quarterfinals.
The miners in this area became silent soldiers in the
Cold War, and were later known as "Cold Soldiers". Today, they
plant their feet in the battle fields of war, preparing to fight
against wicked governments and State Attorneys, who try
to keep them succeeding in the mental war game.
Corrupt governments attempt to censor and suppress
the signs and symbols, to no avail. The soldiers will walk
those miles together through the valley of the shadow of death,
across the waters and burning, hot, desert sand.
We hope that that this brief overview will help to alleviate
your fears and frustrations. Anyone doubting the veracity of
this account will surely be impressed by the voluminous
reference materials, helpfully provided below.

The reconstructed section of the VOC (United Dutch East India
Company) ship Batavia is on display in the Batavia Gallery at
the Shipwreck Galleries, Western Australian Maritime Museum,
Fremantle. Other galleries within this museum show the Western
Australian shipwrecks and the work of the Departments of
Maritime Archaeology and Materials Conservation. The Western
Australian Maritime Museum on Victoria Quay, Port of Fremantle,
has exhibits from the Department of Maritime History collection.
The Western Australian Museum, Geraldton, also has displays of
shipwreck material, including that of the Batavia.
On the morning of 4 June 1629, the VOC ship Batavia was wrecked
on Morning Reef in the Houtman Abrolhos, off the coast of
Western Australia.
The shipwreck was a prelude to an extraordinary tragedy.
During the excavation of the site, 137 shaped sandstone blocks
were raised from the wreck site. On return to Fremantle and
after conservation, work started on identification of their
significance on board the ship. It became obvious that the
blocks made up a portal or portico facade.
Research in the archives identified it as destined for the
Waterport of the Castle at Batavia. An engraving by Pieter van
den Broecke in 1629 at Batavia shows the Castle, with
scaffolding in place and the Waterport unfinished. Van den
Broecke even recorded in his journal the arrival of Pelsaert in
the Batavia's boat. An illustration from the mid-1630s shows the
completed Waterport with a new portal, obviously sent out to
replace the one lost on the Batavia. The stones have been
masoned in the typical style of the 'Weserrenaissance' (c. 1530?
1630) in north-west Germany. Quarries at Obernkirchen and
Bentheim were the main sources of sandstone used for buildings
and decorative stonework in this period.

Henry Whacker, later known as Indian Henry, was a "Digger Indian"
from a tribe in the southwest Utah and Southeast Nevada areas.
The term "Digger" evolved from the habit these Indians had for
digging in the ground for most of their food.
The North Standard Chemical Corporation had some mines in this
same part of the Bull Canyon Mining District, and the men who
worked them lived in a boarding house built in the bottom of
Bull Canyon, very near the wash caused by the rushing waters of
the spring run-off. The boarding house was managed by John Keske,
whose wife took in all the miners' washing and did their cooking
On the afternoon of May 11, 1917, in the Keske Boarding House,
three men sat down at the dining room table to play some Hearts.
The men were Clark Akers, an old time cowboy, John Keske and
Indian Henry. John Keske had concealed a six-shooter in his boot
top. For that reason alone, I think the whole episode that
followed was a set-up to kill Indian Henry and steal the money
they thought he had. During the course of the play, Keske led an
ace, and Indian Henry trumped it. Outraged at this turn of
events, Keske brought up his six- shooter and shot Indian Henry
square in the mouth; he was killed instantly. Later inspection
of the hand held by the Indian showed a void in the suit of the
ace lead. His trump was valid and proper.
After Indian Henry was buried under a huge overhanging sandstone
cliff at the junction of Picket Corral Draw and Bull Canyon Wash,
George Riley put up a tombstone. Carved from hard red sandstone,
its lettering was laboriously chiseled out by hand. He fenced
the grave area off to protect it from livestock. Still there
today for anyone to see, it is marked with this simple epitaph:

My uncle, Jim Williams, who was well known all over the country
as a packer, used to pack the ore from mines in Bull Canyon.
Well acquainted with Indian Henry and John Keske, he had spent
many a night at the old boarding house. He had often stabled his
burros under the overhanging rimrocks. After reaching the top of
Monogram Mesa with a Burro pack string, he would go north across
the Mesa to the Joe Dandy Tram. The ore buckets on the tram took
the ore to the valley floor in East Paradox. There, the big ore
wagons with six-horse teams would be loaded up, and the ore
would be hauled to Placerville where it was then loaded on the
train for its final destination.

Thoughts of the Conscious Soldier
To all the cold soldiers that's standing strong in these dismal
trenches, while shunning them snitches. Putting their backs
against the wall, facing all the many forces, not worried about
the choices that must be made in order to survive in this ill-
reputed place. They'll come together not caring about color race.
All they see is another soldier standing strong in the many
different dangers one will deal with each day he awakes in this
sinful den that they constantly pack us in forcing us to be
neighbors with punks and tricks that will smile in your face and
tell on you with the blink of an eye, not fearing the
consequence that they have just turned in one of the Brother-Men.
But them real cold soldiers stories can't be told in words, it
could only be viewed in their action and deeds when they plant
their feet in the battle fields of war preparing to fight
against the wicked government and states attorney that have
surrounded them in order to cause them pain by wrecking their
brain to keep them from succeeding in this mental war game that
they played in order to keep the soldiers from focusing on the
real picture that they try so hard to block out of their minds.
While freezing them in a false moment in time, then concealing
the signs and symbols that comes from the conscious mind that
will make the blind see the marvelous light that will shine so
bright. When the tripe darkness of ignorance try to lay claim to
that knowledge of light that will lead the cold soldier army in
the night to that mental battle they must fight in order to free
their mind, body, and souls. Then gain control so no one will
ever be able to hold them hostage in these iron plantations that
spreads all across this great mighty nation like back in slavery
days. When them people got paid off the sales of human flesh and
gutter rats like Willie Lynch was placed in the books of time
cause he came up with the concept of enslaving the mind.
Let this be an eye opener in today's history so that it don't be
no strange happening cause law govern all events and know that
real soldiers don't snitch when the pressure hit, they'll give
up their names, age, and address, that's all them people will
get.
So it will be known that them soldiers will walk those miles
together through the valley of the shadow of death, across the
waters and burning, hot, desert sand. But if anyone shall fall
prey to this madness, know deep in your heart that the strength
of a soldier will carry you far, even though we are laid up in
these dismal trenches, we can't allow our surrounding situations
to change us from the state of mind of our true existence of
being the coldest soldiers that ever walked the face of this
earth.
It is surely the hour to unite and take the fight to the
workshop of the mind. Where all the tools of proper science is
used to finally crush the beast that dwells within and leaves
our lower-selves stretched out all over the land. So that it
would be written in the signs and symbols of time that the lower-
self was conquered by the use of the Royal Son's conscious mind.
The United States need to become more conscious of the real
bloody murderers who are shielded by the veil, while they sit
behind their desk and pull of more crimes then we'll ever begin
to know, because they lie, cheat, steal, kill, and openly rape
the American people out of justice, right before their face, as
they smile, shake hands and kiss the babies of the next
generation that they plot to kill.

What about all that information that is lost when we take the
artifacts out of context? Take any common old bottle, say Dr.
Kilmer's Swamproot Kidney Liver and Bladder Cure. Now suppose we
gathered all the data of all the privies and dumps into which
these bottle were tossed. Furthermore, we recorded the position,
the depth, the context (the context is the other stuff we threw
into the bucket without looking at it: the seeds, parasites, the
bone toothbrushes, the china, the redware shards, the cinders,
the ashes, etc.) I'd say we would have a lot of information. In
fact, we could spend a lifetime gathering this information. We
could write books on this information. We'd have Dr. Kilmer and
his clients down pat. We'd know every place he sold his
Swamproot, every person who tried a bottle and every disease his
dupes died of. I guess that's what they mean by the information
explosion!
Just how are these archaeologists gonna store all this
information? These days on acid free paper and magnetic disks
(we all know the reliability of those). Hey one nuclear
explosion and all bets are off. I'll bet the books and
information kept in those impenetrable vaults maintained by the
Armed Forces to be used by those who survive the nuclear
holocaust will be Archaeological Reports.
