Mr. SHEPHERD, Mr. WAITE & Mr. BANGAY all completed
their evidence today, regarding their recollections
of their respective attendances at Porton Down.
Wednesday 26th May will see Mr. Eric BRENNAN,
Mr. Albert DIPPLE and Mr. Michael OATEN all recount
their experiences whilst attending Porton Down.
Mr. Kenneth EARL may have been required on this day,
but his evidence will now be heard at a later date.
Any further spare time will be taken up with the
reading and admission of statements from witnesses
under Rule 37.
3 ex-servicemen, Mr. BRANT, Mr. JOHNS & Mr. NEWBURY all
completed their evidence of their memories of attending
Porton Down, and were questioned by all the interested
parties. It was hoped that Mr. THORNE would also have been
called to give evidence today, but was unable to do so,
and his evidence will be heard at a later date,
the exact date is yet to be fixed.
Mr. POPPLEWELL, Mr. KELLY and Mr. BARNES all completed
their evidence, and were questioned by the Coroner
and the interested parties, about their attendance
at Porton Down.
The inquest adjourned at 1645 hours and will not
reopen until 1000/Monday 24th May.
Mr. SAMMONS completed his evidence this morning, and after lunch,
Mr. KERSHAW & Mr. SILVESTER gave their evidence and were questioned
by the interested parties, in relation to their experiences
at Porton Down.
