Exactly. Should hunters pretend to be depressed while
hunting? What about those of us who eat consumer foods:
do they enjoy the imprisonment, torture, and sanctioned murder
of animals? Predators enjoy the hunt because that is what
they are biologically designed to accomplish, basically, and are
happy and healthy when doing so. Killing on the other hand elicits
enjoyment only from an unhealthy world, such as the one we live
in today. Hunting for sport - shooting the game and throwing it
away, which I don't agree with - today utilizes very little
artistry, and inspires little honor or respect for the life that
is taken.
