Did you really have a stroke? I did notice you weren't around, but
many have fallen off. This past few weeks I was on my longest vacation
in years and then had trouble with my 'puter and then with my ISP
after I came back.
about the women thing... if you knew me and some of my history back in
the 70's you'd be amused.
Interestingly, I do think many men do identify with and get
terrifically turned on to see women in traditional roles, say cooking
in the kitchen, in retro regalia, like an apron. Or scrubbing the
floor like this. The older the guy, the more I think this is so,
regardless of how politically correct he may think he is now.
I remember in the late 70's one girl that was a couple years younger
than me, but looked up to me (I had graduated and I was active
politically on campus) saw more and announced that she no longer
shaved her legs (and she had GREAT legs) because she was now
"liberated". She expected me to congratulate her but was very sorely
disappointed when I told her the truth, that I didn't care for it. I
tried to explain that our sexual preferences and instincts go way back
to early childhood and that we are "conditioned" so powerfully that I
couldn't honestly just pretend to like this step toward "equality"
since we men aren't burdened by having to shave our legs.
Anyway, we went to some dive bar up in Carlstadt NJ and she was pissed
at me all night. The next year, her senior year, I visited her at
college and I noticed her legs were now clean shaven and perfect
again, and she never mentioned her unshaven experiment.
Anyway the point is that what we like sexually can't just be changed
as we get older but in a way is hard-wired in early on. I'm not saying
it's impossible to change, some change does happen, but big changes
are not easy. - Doc
