I couldn't agree more. As a musician I play lots of weddings. And just
in the last ten years, while males are still coming in tuxedos or at
least coat and tie females (often including the bride) show up with bare
feet in flip flops - that makes the old garter-toss tradition kinda
pointless.
Somehow it seems that even in the heyday of pantyhose most guys I used
to hang out with thought they were un-sexy. At least from my own
perspective it looks as a fetish (or whatever you want to call it)
forms very early on and maybe based on lots of random factors. As it
carried on in my life, once I knew a little more about sex, it turned
out to be pretty cool to be attracted to girls wearing pantyhose
because, well, most of them were wearing them in the 70s & 80s (at least
in Germany, where I am from).
And frankly, while there are thousands of pictures on this NG of females
doing all sorts of nasty stuff in and with pantyhose the biggest turn-on
is a good looking woman fully dressed showing off her legs in pantyhose
(leaving the rest to my imagination).
There have been rare occasions when I ran into woman at the grocery or
some other place who wear a pair of hose - and these days it really
sticks out (I now live in the US). As a matter of fact it sticks out so
boldly that I can't shake the feeling they might have a thing for
pantyhose, too. I have been only seconds away from complimenting them on
their great taste. But people get sued these days for lesser things.
I dunno....
