My suspicion is, since you asked, you must not have the tools.
[XP can't view its own ass without an external app]
*I* would view them with ACDSee and convert them with PaintShopPro,
although both are readily available, neither are free.
Well...you know what I mean. :p
Theoretically, IrfanView does both and for free.
