Every group seems to come with it's own self elected elite - the difference
seems to be that
some encourage, some browbeat, but in almost all cases they also seem to be the
majority posters.
Consequently the rest are more likely to be forgiving - or supportive and slap
down critics when they start up.
When the group is used solely as an advertising outlet ....
Maybe that's the difference - the guys like 'Lag, scribble, hudson and the
other heavy posters don't seem interested in dominating the group .... They
just contribute to it without expecting anything more than a little
appreciation
(I'm sure they'll value your comments on the quality of their posts).
Reposts are fine ... to newbs it's all new .... to the oldsters - personally
I've never saved that much ... and with a memory like mine ...it seem new -
also it's nice to see some familiar faces (?).
As a sometime (almost zero) poster myself I don't feel qualified to crit anyone
who contributes more than 2 posts per month (so long as those posts aren't
advertising the poster's own commercial site).
As for the new stuff ... well it's got to be a case of put up or ......
