I'm having a lot of luck with www.shared-secrets.com
Posts are near as complete as the most best servers (giga, easy) but
at a fraction of cost. Indeed they are better than most that do cost
more.
They are perfect also as a back-up server because they sell
NON_RECURRING BILLING "Blocks" of gigs that do NOT run out at the end
of the month but are good till used, even if it takes 10 years.
So if you buy 25 GiGs at 15 bucks and your main server only misses a
few posts or only screws up one group (like this one with missing
movie posts) than if you used this as a back-up you could use maybe a
GiG or 2 a moth and it could last you a year or 2 for freakin 15 bucks
and never asking for "fills" or lame reposts.
Anyway, they are not perfect but I've tried many, from the best, to
shit, to many in between and right now they look to be the smartest
deal.
I'm recommending them too because I've always been shocked at the
rudeness and lack of support by both ISPs and news server people but
these guys have, on more than one occasion, given me PERSONAL fucken
service. Now THAT is truly rare. They are very nice to me so I
thought I'd help them out. I think it's a small outfit, since they are
taking care of me personally. Doc
