Just for your information, I don't leech, in case you think from my
comments I do. That is why I would get upset if someone was ignoring
me. I can think of one instance where someone sent me a message to
trade and I was not home. When I returned to read the messages, I
tried to reply to the person to tell him I would start him. An error
message was returned saying I was being ignored. This is what I mean
by petty. Don't people realise that you don't sit in front of your
computer 24 h a day?
One change to WinMX that needs to be made is the upload directory needs
to show the amount of bytes a person in your queue has left on his file
and not always zero. I have my WinMX set to allow automatic uploads of
anyone who has 20 MB or less. So, if someone has a big file with only
a few bytes left, I have no problem with them getting it from me. But
when everyone in the queue shows zero, it makes it hard to determine
what they really have.
I too would like to see the hotlist saved after WinMX is closed. There
have been times I had to reboot my system and could not get back in
someone's queue. It is easy if the name is still in the hotlist.
