Advantages is that ot cuts your upload time by about a third or more.
Cuts downloaders time by a third or more. Putting the 2 together on
big files is a lot.
Final file out is the same (identical)
Disadvatage is that some people refuse to use a real newsreader and
use something like Outlook Express and won't bother using a free add
on program that even makes that total piece of shit work. (All "real"
newsreaders read yenc coded posts just like the old coded posts)
So those that aren't motivated enough to do something affirmative
other than using their Wal-Mart computer out of the box don't get to
read your files. So you lose those people.
