This is actually TRUE. Back at that time, Reagan hated IRAN
and SADDAM was our "greatest friend in the Middle East". The
Taliban + Osama bin Laden *were* the "freedom fighters" funded
and armed by the CIA and provided with intelligence under orders
from then President Ronald Reagan.

Mark is complete moron, TY. It is exactly this sort of lack of
concern because it was happening only to the "right" people who
somehow 'deserved' it because of so-called behavior or lifestyle
'choices' that I was trying to address in my original post and the
# 1 reason why str8 people are getting it in far greater numbers
and faster than we gays did 'back in the day'...
No further comments from me regarding Ronnie... I didn't much
care for the man or his policies or his total indifference to the
desperate plight of gay people who were dropping like flies on his
watch under the glare of TV cameras every day + see no reason
to feel any differently now that he is dead...
My heart does go out to Nancy at this time. I lost my
grandmother after a 13 year struggle with Alzheimer's at age 95
and know exactly what she must have gone through [especially
in the final years]...
