Well perhaps the reason you don't know poster, is because you are so
young (born then) and only hear the glowing (sickening) propaganda
now.

winger. Later he joined hands with the lunatic john birch society
fringe in California and was an ideologue. In person, he was a
charming pleasant man. But such seeming contradictions occur a lot in
people. Adolf Hitler was kind to his dogs.
No, Reagan was a nasty motherfucker who had rigid ideological beliefs.
The whole "key" to "reaganomics" was to purposely get massive deficits
in order to force cuts and roll back the "new deal" and get us back as
close as possible to the old Social Darwinism ideal of pre-depression
era Republicanism. As for gays, and I know you are not LOL, you might
as well drop dead.
George Bush is now frantically trying to compare himself to him. On
policy he is close, on sheer incompetence he even beats Reagan (but he
would beat anyone over the last 100 years), but he sorely lacks his
photogenic quality as well as the "aw shucks" ability to deflect from
his disastrous mistakes. However, his core following believes in him
almost religiously, no matter what, even better than what Reagan had.
