Oh, I don't deny being 'full of shit'... the problem arises when
[most] people think their own doesn't stink...
I stand by my assertion that HIV/AIDS wouldn't be at a tenth of
the level it is today if Reagan had said/did *anything* back when
it would have mattered or made a difference... Of a list of 127
gay friends I made in 1985, 122 of them have died of HIV/AIDS
and 2 others are in the process of dying from same. that's a
rate of 97.5%+ mortality amongst my close friends. Through his
inaction and outright denial of needle exchanges, free condom
distribution in high schools, HIV/AIDS education, etc. , he did
in fact, directly contribute to + accelerate its spread into the
'mainstream' society. Ignorance is not bliss, it sux big time
and in this case, it's killing 100s of millions of people...
