There are several good sites out there. Some let you search by
geographical location, interests, etc, and some notify you when you get a
message while others require you to log in directly to check for new
messages. I only bother with free sites. Some of the ones I belong to

One of the best. Great gallery areas, lots of into in profiles, and can
search by geographic area, interest, physical characteristics, etc. The
only thing that would make it better would be if they sent you a notice
when someone left you a message.

Make sure you go to personals.gearplay, leaving out the Personals will take
you to a pay site. This is a bit more basic but still has galleries and
lets you search by geographic location, interest, physical characteristics,
etc. It also sends you an e-mail when someone sends you a message.

This is actually a collection of sites that are basically identical and
interlinked, each focused on a different fetish (bondage, master/slave,
leather, punk, etc. Since they are interlinked it doesn't really matter
what you chose when you sign up.) This one also has nice galleries,
profile info, and e-mails you when you get a message. You can search by
name or geographic location with the free account, but get more search
capabilities with the pay version.

Nice galleries, interesting rating system which gives a system-wide listing
of most viewed profiles and photos as well as a jack-off listing. They
send an e-mail when you get messages, but I find it a bit cumbersome to
search for members there.

Nice galleries, good profiles, can search by name or geographic location
for free but have to pay to get more advanced search capabilities. Does
not e-mail you when you get messages though.
There are also lycra groups on non-gay/lycra sites like Frappr, Connexion,
Yahoo 360, WorldGroups, Hi5, Orkut,....
