Unfortunately, I haven't made it up that far in a while. For the last few
years we've been staying at the Tropicana, and it's rare if I ever wander
that far up the boardwalk. I know Ocean One had a little photographic
display of really old AC stuff... I wonder if they moved it up towards
Showboat when Ocean One closed. That stuff was a little too old for me...
I just wanna see the stuff that I remember. :)
Probably about the earliest time frame that I'm thinking of, is about the
same as the footage you see of the boardwalk and casinos in Bruce
Springsteen's Atlantic City video. I'm a little past 30 now, but since I've
been going on vacation there with my folks since I was about 10 - I can
still remember the boardwalk when there were 7 or 8 arcades, and only a
couple of casinos... heh Playcade is the only video arcade left that was
there when I started going. I think they might have some of the same prizes
for their ticket games too. ;)
