Winona Fan, I got off work with an early-out at 9:30 Sunday night, just
in time to get to the 10 P.M. showing of "A Scanner Darkly". at one of
only two theaters to show the movie here in Las Vegas, The Palms hotel
and casino. -------- Everything you said is true about the movie. I'd
like to add three comments. First about the rotoscope animation, it took
me about ten minutes to get used to it. Once I got accustomed to it it
was fun to watch. Especially the weird way the freeways looked and the
surrounding outdoor backgrounds. ----- Second, even though the nude
scene wasn't really Winona's body, we finally get an animated version of
a nude Winona in a movie. :) ----- And finally the last scene Winona was
in, where she has her hair in a pony tail. It appeared to me that the
rotoscope animation was done in more detail on her face, because she
looked the most beautiful in that scene. :) ------------- As you said
it is no "classic", but I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD. It was a
pretty good movie. ----- I want to watch the movie, when it does come
out on DVD, and have a few shots of bourbon and get a little loaded
while I watch the flick. :) ----- Rusty

most important thing people can do right now in the US." ---- I Love
Winona Ryder. :) Winona's film career has spanned 20 years now, let's
hope she will continue it for years to come.
