Casey, well you really didn't miss anything special. When Winona's #7
spot was presented on the show, it was all old news for any
self-respecting Winona Ryder fan. --- A brief summary ----- they
mentioned that when Winona first started in films, as a teen, her
biggest role was, of course, in "Heathers". Then a very brief excerpt of
a 1988 interview with Winona mentioning how she loves the movie. ---
Then the show says that in her career into the 90's she became the "IT"
girl, but her career cooled off in the late 90's. --- And then. of
course, they mentioned her legal problem. --- And at the end "The Darwin
Awards" and "A Scanner Darkly" were mentioned as her upcoming movies.
--------------- The recent Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah was
in an article in "Entertainment Weekly" magazine February 10, 2006
issue. "The Darwin Awards" was mentioned with the brief statement ---
"Winona Ryder attempted a comeback with "The Darwin Awards". --- That
sounds like the movie didn't do too well at the Film Festival, but I
still want to see it just like you. :) ----- Rusty
